I'm sure most people know that Deceptive Perception 2 was started by William The Taffer soon after the original Deceptive Perception came out in 2002 for Komag's Contest 3, but he never finished it. When I urged him to do so, he gave it to me to finish off and release, and I'm sure many people in the Thief FM community have been eager to play it for a long time. I don't want to give away any plot or mission info just yet, but closer to release I will reveal some details about the mission.
Currently, the mission is mostly complete, and I'm making a pass through it to add details and update FX and textures in places, since it was mostly made in 2003. One area had to be completely redone and doubled, which took me nearly two months of off and on work to complete. A significant amount of voice work is being added, and much of the originals redone, by SlyFoxx and Lizanneh. I'm hoping to release it in 2008 as soon as possible.
